Sweet rides, all in a row

A line of 1960s classics draws visitors at this year’s Sweet Home Sweet Ride Car Show, held Saturday, June 25, on the field below Sweet Home Junior High.

Although the number of cars on display at the Sweet Home Sweet Ride Car Show was a little lower than normal Saturday, it was still a good time as the Sweet Home High School/Junior High athletic field was filled with classic cars and other vehicles.

Director Kimi Nash said that her 25 volunteers, who were nearly half the usual turnout, “knocked it out of the park.”

Winners will be announced in next week’s edition of The New Era.
