Tagle, Hummer named Husky baseball MVPs

Trevor Tagle and Adam Hummer were named most valuable players for the Husky baseball team during its annual awards dessert two weeks ago.

Hummer also was named pitcher of the year, with Kyle Pettit.

Tagle received the Golden Glove and hustle awards.

Chaz Davis was named most improved. Greg Sipe was rookie of the year. Pettit and Skyler Bascom received the Big Stick award.

The 100 Club award, for 100 percent participation, went to Joe Ellis, Pettit, Hummer, Adam Matuszak and Sipe.

Receiving first-year letters were Sipe, Davis, Matuszak, Hummer, Robby Wallace, Bascom, Derrick Ward and Brett Miller.

Second-year letters went to Pettit, Ellis and Tagle.
