Teddy Ray Van Cleave, 81, of Foster passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born December 29, 1942 to Raymond T. Van Cleave and Eleanora I. Such in Salem.
Teddy has lived in the Sweet Home area since 1973. He worked in the logging industry, log truck driver, and security guard. He liked spending his time fishing, hunting, buying vehicles, working in his shop, crabbing, canning, baking, cooking, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife: Iola J Van Cleave; his children: Tammy J. Culbertson of Lapine, Terri R Van Cleave of Foster, Theodore R Van Cleave of Foster; sisters: Dona L. Morgan of Junction City, Shirley J. Dugger of Saint Maries, ID, Andrey J. Rust of Junction City, Eunice G Perterson of Eugene, Violet A Weise of Vienna, IL; brothers: Robert L. Van Cleave of Junction City, Terry M. Van Cleave of Redmond, and Jackie Van Cleave of Arlington, TX; grandchildren: Alexander R. Culberson of Lebanon, Joshua A. Culbertson of Ridgefield, WA, Natasha N. Walz of Bend, Zuri E. Allison of Sweet Home, and 11 great-grandchildren. Teddy is preceded in death by his sister: Mary Belle Melton (1995); brothers: William J. Van Cleave (2020), Emmett L. Van Cleave (1988).
