Terrance Milligan

July 20, 1966 – Aug. 30, 2015

Terrance “Terry” Scott Milligan, 49, of Sweet Home died Aug. 30, 2015 at the Samaritan Hospice House in Albany.

He was born July 20, 1966 to Charles Milligan and Marilee (Mills) Williams, the second to the eldest child of this union. He graduated from Sweet Home High School.

Mr. Milligan was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Sweet Home Huskies and the Oregon Ducks. His other passions were WWE wrestling, with John Cena as his favorite. He loved antagonizing rival teams – i.e. Oregon State fans – versus his favorite Oregon Ducks. He even wore his green and yellow to his doctor appointments in Beaver territory. His sense of humor was his strength in his last days.

Mr. Milligan’s greatest love was being an active member of Harvest Christian Center in Sweet Home, where he recommitted his life to the Lord. He loved attending services and helping with the recent Back to School Bash, stocking backpacks with school supplies and passing out popcorn to the numerous children who needed a helping hand. At the Lebanon Speedway, Terry Bentley Jr. has a sticker on his race car in remembrance of Terry Milligan.

Mr. Milligan is survived by his father, Charles Milligan of Sweet Home; mother Marilee Mills and step-father Floyd Williams of Sweet Home; daughter Brittney Milligan of Sweet Home; son Cody Milligan of Albany; brother Brian and sister-in-law Melody Milligan of Hillsboro; sisters Shannah Milligan of Albany and Angie Milligan of Portland; step-siblings Dennis Williams of Springfield, Dena Williams and Denise McQuistion of Sweet Home; one grandson, whom he adored; and ex-wife Tammy Milligan of Albany.

A memorial service was held Sept. 5 at Harvest Christian Center.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
