We would like to thank the 26 businesses that participated in the Oct. 12-13 Stepping Into Fall /Ladies Night Out event. The event will be an annual happening and next year will take place in September 2013.
Our next planned event will be part of the Christmas in Sweet Home happenings for the month of December.
Our theme is “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree,” to take place on Saturday, Dec. 1. Downtown businesses will be in a contest for best window display, best lights, best Christmas tree.
Customers will shop local businesses with a passport and find the “45 record” decorated for Christmas. Interested customers can participate in a Hat Contest. All of this will take place at the Sweet Home VFW followed by live music with All Rights Reserved.
