I was once again honored to attend an early breakfast in Sweet Home and personally thank a few of you responsible for the generous $2,000 donation to the Senior Companion Program.
On behalf of our frail elderly, disabled adults, senior volunteers and Samaritan Health Service, we thank the Sweet Home Economic Development Group, Sweet Home Community Foundation and the residents of Sweet Home, for your continued support and generosity.
The contribution to our program is greatly appreciated and will help to fund services to Sweet Home residents. The $2,000 contribution equates to 6,250 miles of transportation service, 755 hours of respite and companionship or 1,212 meals shared in Sweet Home.
SHEDG has accomplished so much since 2002 and we know you all helped! Guess we’d best put on our sunglasses – because we know the future of Sweet Home is bright, very bright!
