Thanks to church for helping moms

The staff at Sweet Home Early Head Start would like to extend their gratitude to the Sweet Home Seventh Day Adventist Church, Tawny Sportsman and all other church volunteers for providing beautiful baby baskets for the new moms in their program.

Each basket is individualized for a baby boy or girl.

The baskets include a receiving blanket, bib, stuffed animal, goodies for mom, a picture frame and the book, “What to Expect the First Year.”

We are so grateful for the kindness she is extending to teen moms. What a wonderful way of greeting Sweet Home’s newest citizens.

Early Head Start is located at the Sweet Home High School and serves pregnant and parenting teens.

There is a center-based or home visit option that provides weekly home visits to the parents.

If you would like more information about our program, please give us a call at (541) 818-0584.
