On Oct. 29 the Police Department responded to an urgent call at the Sweet Home Seventh-day Adventist Church, at 4th & Holley. An officer was waved down by a woman who noticed someone down outside the church.
David Jones, 70, the church’s head deacon, was found on the ground, unresponsive. The officer who responded to this emergency evaluated the situation and immediately contacted the fire and rescue along with other police officers, who arrived…
