Theda J. Davenport, 56, of Sweet Home died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
She was born in San Jose, Calif., to Lawrence Dode and Mildred F. (Birchfield) Gowen.
She moved to Sweet Home from central California in 1991.
Mrs. Davenport could often be found at Lorraine’s Diner and at The Point Restaurant. She spent several years at both places where she was well known for doing the food preparation.
She enjoyed having a drink with her friends after her shifts at The Point. She loved going to the coast and shopping with her sister Teresa. She enjoyed cross stitching and playing “Crash Bandicoot” on the Playstation, and she loved riding on the back of the Harley with her husband, David.
Mrs. Davenport is survived by her husband, David Davenport of Sweet Home; daughters, Angela Ladousier of Augusta, S.C., and Andrea Ledford of Snelling, Calif.; son, Anthony Cook of Winton, Calif.; mother, Mildred Gowen of Sweet Home; sisters, Teresa Schoonover of Sweet Home, and Judy Hansen of San Ramon, Calif.; brother, Johnny Gowen of Mariposa, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Dode Gowen.
