Thelma Phyllis Paddock, 80, of Sweet Home died Sept. 12, 2014.
She was born Oct. 9, 1933 in Cortez, Colo. to John Kelton and Elizabeth (Clark) Seibert.
Her family lived in Cortez before settling in Scotts Mills and then moving to Sweet Home. She attended school and graduated from Sweet Home Union High School.
She married Dean Paddock on June 29, 1956 in Junction City.
Mrs. Paddock enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She loved getting together and having meals with her family. She worked with 4-H and elementary school children.
Mrs. Paddock is survived by her children, Kathy Rice and Judy Paddock both of Sweet Home, and Tammy Bernards and son-in-law Scott of Carlton; brothers Jim Seibert, Doug Seibert and Bill Seibert; sisters Doris Garron and Linda Blankenship; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, S. Dean Paddock; her parents; and brothers Eddie Seibert and Bud Seibert.

Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Liberty Cemetery.
