This time, Lebanon fire may ask for less on levy

In ongoing discussions about a likely levy meausure for the Lebanon Fire District, Chief John Tacy gave the LFD Board of Directors numbers needed to sustain the most necessary provision: medic services.

During the board meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 12, he said increased call volume, rising EMS demand and loss of a medic unit from budget shortfalls is causing an “increased strain” on multi-role crews.
