Thomas Paul Frentress, 82, of Eugene died Nov. 10, 2011.
He was born Nov. 14, 1928 in Waterloo, Iowa to Paul and Letha Frentress, one of three children.
He attended the University of Oregon and married Edie Wynegar in Vancouver, Wash. on April 21, 1953. Mr. Frentress owned the Dairy Queen in Sweet Home from 1972 to 2004.
He is survived by his wife Edie; son Jay Frentress; daughters Jan Banks and Cindy Person; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Frentress was preceded in death by his parents; son Steve Frentress; and sister Marilyn Burnett.
