Three arrested in Cascadia drug bust

Linn County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people after Sunday after executing a narcotics and stolen property search warrant at 49259 Santiam Hwy, Cascadia on Saturday evening. Investigators searched throughout the night into the morning and located methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales and drug paraphernalia, Sheriff Tim Mueller said. Over $1,500 was seized from the property, along with 29 firearms. Numerous prescription pills were also seized.

David Robert Patterson, 57, of Cascadia was arrested on charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, delivery of marijuana and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Kimberly Jean Allen, 49, of Cascadia, was arrested on charges of frequenting a place where controlled substances are used and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Melinda Marie Phillips, 46, of Sweet Home, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Phillips’ 15-year-old daughter was removed from her custody and placed in foster care by DHS.

The investigation continues and additional arrests are expected, Mueller said. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Albany, Lebanon, and Sweet Home police departments and members of the Linn County Regional SWAT team.
