He was born May 27, 1951 to Robert Vernon and Dorothy Mae (Mulkey) Jackson in Los Angeles, Calif.
Through his life Mr. Jackson resided in Los Angeles, Bison, S.D., Portland, and since 1982, had lived in Brownsville. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, backpacking and gardening.
