He was born Aug. 20, 1945 in Seattle, Wash. to Robert I. and Lawanna E. Swan.
He was raised in Pleasant Hill through high school, then served in the United States Air Force for four years at Edwards Air Force base.
He married his one and only true love, Barbara. They celebrated 46 years of marriage in December.…
