While family members bucked limbs from trees that fell around their homes, Jack Bell was counting his blessings Saturday morning.
Bell, a stroker-delimber operator for RidgeTree Logging, was one of a few local loggers who were trapped in the woods when Thursday’s storm slammed East Linn county.
If the day’s weather hadn’t been so nice up to the storm, Bell probably would have been safe at home like hundreds of other loggers.
