Vehicle occupants survey the scene where a fallen tree blocked Highway 20 for nearly two hours Friday just east of River Bed Park. Accoreding to the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District, the downed tree , which hit a power line and was smouldering when firefighters arrived, was reported at 2:56 p.m. Responders had to wait unil Pacific Power and Light arrived to turn off the power before they could remove the tree at 46621 Highway 20, near milepost 38. The road was reopened just before 4:42 p.m.
