Trump’s outsider, so he’s disliked

Editor:

I’m thinking back a decade or two to the time when there were no “Tweets.”

Presidents did what they all do – swear, cheat and otherwise do what men in power tend to do (just my humble observation). But, even when the public knew about these things, it was overlooked.

I think of the reasons that President Trump was so disliked by the embedded politicians is that he is not a lawyer. Lawyers are trained to convolute the English language so that they can say a lot and confuse you enough that you forgot what you wanted to know in the beginning.

President Trump was not schooled in that forum. He is a man who calls it as he sees it. Politicians (lawyers) in Washington couldn’t stand that.

Things were good just as they had made it and they didn’t want any radical changes, even if they were good changes. So, they took up the slander and made up all the fabrications that they could convince the sleeping public to believe.

Had there been no Tweets, Facebook, etc., President Trump would go down in history as the first president to make huge positive changes to our way of life in only one term.

President Trump also believed in freedom of speech and peaceful protesting. That’s why he called all freedom-loving folks to come to Washington to show Congress just how many were unhappy with the messy election. They brought their children, husbands and wives and good friends.

Nowhere was the idea of taking over the White House.

The riot at the Capitol was the same groups who have been burning Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities all over the country. I might add mostly in Democrat controlled cities, where they can loot and burn at their leisure without persecution.

In regards to our newly elected councilor in our fair city, Ms. Sanchez, who obviously is a patriot of this country, who took her child to the march in Washington, hurray for you! I wish I could have gone, too.

It was a wonder to see the multitudes of patriotic people who came from all over the country to voice their opinion.
