Sweet Home police arrested two adults Monday, Aug. 17, after a narcotics-related search at 2215 Long St.
According to a department statement, police arrived at approximately 7 a.m., accompanied by Lebanon Police Department personnel. They located two adults and two juveniles on the property.
During the investigation, detectives seized “dealer quantities” of methamphetamine, scales, baggies, cash, two firearms and drug paraphernalia.
Brian Patrick Murphy, 43, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance – methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, PCS-methamphetamine, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
Ann Marie Staten, 43, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
A narcotics investigation was opened by the Sweet Home Police Department due to reported drug sales by Murphy, according to the statement.
The two juveniles located at the residence were taken into protective custody and released to a family member.
