Sweet Home police arrested two men and are on the lookout for a third after a narcotics-related search warrant early Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 30400 Berlin Road in Lebanon.
According to Chief Jeff Lynn, at approximately 6 a.m. Sweet Home Police Department with assistance from the Linn County Regional SWAT team, Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police Department and the Albany Police Department served a narcotics related search warrant and located two adults on the property.
Terry Magers, 59, was taken into custody on charges of distribution and possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and four counts of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.
Michael Magers, 55, was charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
A narcotics investigation was opened by the Sweet Home Police Department due to reported sales by Roger Levern Clay , 61, and others at the residence. Clay is a suspect in the case and is wanted on a variety of pending drug and weapons charges.
During the investigation, detectives seized evidence related to dealer quantities of methamphetamine sales and use, dealer quantities of marijuana packaged for sales, scales, firearms, cash and paraphernalia, Lynn said.
