U.S. flag always has priority spot

Editor:

Just a note to correct the advice of a helpful clown at the Christmas Parade: The flag of the United States flies on the left of a stage or display area where there is more than one flag displayed; or the center and higher than other flags if there are more than two. It stands to the right of a speaker, but to the left of the audience (or observer). The correct manner of display can be found in Section 175 of the U.S. Flag Code.

It is like reading English: left to right – nothing comes before the American Flag.
