The Sweet Home 14U team, coached by Ron Moore and Chris Miner, competed June 4-5 in Keizer in their first tournament of the season, at the NAFA West Coast Challenge, with seven other teams. They won all five of their games and were the champions of the challenge. On Saturday, in pool play, they beat Waldport 8-6 and Seaside 12-2.
