The Valley Interagency Narcotics Team (VALIANT), with assistance from the Sweet Home Police Department, Lebanon Police Department, Albany Police Department, Oregon State Police and Linn County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant April 18 at 7:30 a.m. at 27648 Fern Ridge Road, Sweet Home.
The location is the residence of Carla Doreen Magee, Ward Allen Fehrer and Cindy Marie King.
Located at the scene and seized pursuant to the search warrant was evidence of an outdoor marijuana grow and methamphetamine manufacturing lab. Marijuana and methamphetamine were found at the location. Approximately 40 small marijuana plants were found growing and were seized. Also, there were chemicals, glassware and other items commonly used in the production of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. VALIANT lab site officers obtained evidentiary samples of the chemicals and the remainder of the chemicals and glassware were disposed of through a licensed environmental disposal company.
Arrested at the scene and taken into custody were:
Carla Doree Magee, 42. Charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, meth; PCS-meth. Three counts of child neglect.
Ward Allen Fehrer, 34. Charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, meth; PCS-meth.
Cindy Marie King, 49. Manufacturing a controlled substance, meth; PCS-meth.
