The Linn County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle at around 6:45 p.m on Wednesday, July 31.
The caller reported that a white Nissan Altima had been parked near Richardson Gap Road and Griggs Drive, northeast of Lebanon, since earlier in the morning.
Deputies responding to the call determined the Nissan had been stolen from Portland earlier that day. The vehicle’s owner reported to police that various items had been taken at gunpoint by an unknown suspect.
Deputies were able to locate the stolen vehicle parked at 39370 Griggs Drive, Lebanon. Shortly after arriving, deputies noticed the male suspect associated with the stolen vehicle entering the residence.
Shortly after, deputies attempted to contact and communicate with the male, or anyone else inside the residence. After attempts were unsuccessful, they obtained a search warrant for the property, which was served by the Linn County Regional SWAT Team.
During the search, investigators seized drug paraphernalia, firearms and property belonging to the victim of the stolen Nissan. Several people were also found in the residence or on the property, including three individuals who were cited and released on outstanding warrants.
Bodie Gibson, 44, of Lebanon, was cited on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree theft and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an undisclosed charge. Alysha Enaynes, 21, of Sweet Home, was cited on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for a probation violation and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended. Patricia Ann Hughes, 19, of Lebanon, was cited on an undisclosed Washington County Circuit Court warrant.
Three other individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants and lodged at the Linn County Jail. Josh Martin Hughes, 22, of Sweet Home, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving and failure to comply on an original charge of reckless driving. Hughes was also arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving while suspended, and Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of criminal driving while suspended, two-counts of reckless driving, two counts of attempt to elude a police officer, and recklessly endangering another person.
Amber Dawn Lacy, 49, of Lebanon, was arrested on a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended. Christopher Lee Hutzler, 39, of Keizer, was arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for three counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, and two counts of attempting to elude a police officer. Hutzler was also arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for a probation violation and Marion County Circuit Court warrants for fraudulent use of a credit card and failure to appear on original charges of driving while suspended and giving false info to a police officer.
