Venetta Ellen Neisinger, 84, of Sweet Home died May 3, 2011.
She was born Feb. 23, 1926 in Cudahy, Wis. to Francis E. and Birdella Knight (Clyde) Morse.
While living in Wisconsin she bartended, worked at Jeno’s Pizza Factory and Bear Archery. She moved from Superior, Wis., to Sweet Home 15 years ago.
Mrs. Neisinger was a member of the United Methodist Church, serving as an active volunteer in the church and with Manna. She was a long-time member of TOPS.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. She loved her animals and her roses. She was also frequently ate at Skyline Inn.
Mrs. Neisinger is survived by her children, Steven Bass of Spring, Texas and Rhonda Macias of Silverton; two step-daughters, Deanna Pooler of Kansas and Judy Nelson of Ladysmith, Wis.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Neisinger; parents; and three brothers.
A memorial service was held May 6 at the United Methodist Church in Sweet Home.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the United Methodist Church or Safehaven Humane Society.
