Jim Willis, of the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs, addresses Sweet Home veterans during their annual All-Veterans Dinner held Friday night at the VFW Hall. Spc. Jeb Oliver, 21, of the Oregon Honor Guard exchanges medallions with World War II veteran John Wacek, 87. They were the oldest and youngest veterans at the dinner. Debbie Jewell presents a plaque to Howard Ruby for his constant service to veterans. Bessie Lovik serves a prime rib and turkey dinner to Willis’ wife, Dee.
