Victoria Freeman

Victoria “Vicky” Faye (Bliss) Freeman, 75, of Lebanon, passed away April 17, 2026.
She was born Oct. 19, 1950, to Georgia Althea (Dawson) and Jack Frank Bliss in Roseburg.
She moved to Sweet Home in grade school and graduated from Sweet Home High School.
Vicky moved to Lebanon in 1980. She worked for Centurylink in Lebanon for 37 years and later for Linn County Sheriff’s 911 dispatch.
She had many accomplishments, including Woman of the Year in 1992. She was a member of the National Professional Women in Business Association; Lebanon Strawberry Festival committee member from 1988 to 1993; Lebanon Boys and Girls Club committees; and a member of Wigwam Wisemen Sports Booster Club Volunteers and fundraisers.
She loved her family, fishing, camping and shopping. Vicky was so loving and a huge contributor to her family, community and friends. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of Sweet Home First Baptist Church.
Vicky retained her sense of humor and wit until her last breath.
She is survived by her grandson, Tanner Freeman of Edmonds, Wash.; granddaughters Ashley Jennings and Alicia Jennings, both of Washington; daughter-in-law Lindsay Freeman of Edmonds, Wash., and her beloved cats, Rowdy and Ruckus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Freeman (2015); daughter Frances Jennings (2023); son Christopher Freeman (2023), and granddaughter Adrianna Freeman (2023).
When asked what would make me happy at the end of my life: “To love God, my family and friends, to have made some little difference and to have given back more than I received – that would make me happy.”
A celebration of life and barbecue will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Sweet Home Evangelical Church activity gym, 1347 Long St.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
