Recently, my husband and I visited my relatives in Sweet Home. They showed us around the town and vicinity.
We were so impressed with the community involvement and enthusiasm in making it a better place to work, worship, be educated and play, the Boys and Girls Club, the church, senior citizens site, the health facility, the lumbering industry, the schools and the often-used playing fields in such good condition.
But best of all, I sensed a spirit of fun that went with all that involvement.
We nominate you, the people of Sweet Home, the number-one American town.
