Lebanon’s boys wrestling team placed a solid third at the Lebanon Invite this past week.
Dallas took home the title ahead of Barlow in second.
The tournament featured 22 Oregon teams that were mostly 5-6A schools. The meet was boys-only.
First-place winners for the Warriors were Seth Wynn (157) and Grady Cox (165).
Silver-medalists were Casey Carter (132) and Cade Weber (165), who was defeated by Cox in the championship match.
David Brandt (150) placed third.
“I thought we wrestled very well,” stated Head Coach Michael Cox.
Lebanon began the week at Central on Wednesday for a dual against the Panthers, but only four matches were wrestled because that was all Central had to offer with its roster size of only four wrestlers.
The Warriors went undefeated that night, but Cox wasn’t pleased.
“It was kinda a waste of time,” he stated.
Lebanon’s boys will compete at Reser’s Tournament of Champions on Friday and Saturday. The girls will wrestle in Wilsonville on Friday.
