First of all, I would like to say thank you to all of the people who have chosen to run for City Council. It is a good statement for the city when so many people show interest.
I would like to offer some comments about a particular individual who is running.
My wife, Linda, and I have known Scott McKee Jr. for several years and know him to be a person who cares. That is evidenced by his work on different committees and commissions in the city and by his devotion to his family and his job.
I am convinced he has no particular agenda and his only interest is in helping the city move forward and hopefully making the right decisions in some difficult times ahead.
While it can be said that no one in their right mind would run for such a thankless position, I know Scott will bring his youth, his energy and his willingness to work to the council.
My wife and I would like to ask that you give your support and vote to Scott McKee Jr. for Sweet Home City Council.
