Wendell Eads, 76, of Sweet Home died Sept. 30, 2006.
He was born to Harry & Gladys (Chewning) Eads in Baker. In 1967 he married Miriam Zoffel and they had a son. He was a college graduate and served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. Through the years he traveled all over Europe.
Mr. Eads is survived by his wife, Miriam Eads of Sweet Home; son, David Hutton of Churchville, Md.; sisters, Billie Denver of Lebanon, Karan Wright of Lebanon, Robbin Strubber of Portland and LaNae Conley of Scappoose; and brother, Harry and wife Evelyn Eads of Mexico.
Mr. Eads was preceded in death by sisters Katheryn Buxton and Marion Anderson.
A burial and service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
