Wendy Sue Weedman, 69, most recently of Lebanon, but a longtime Sweet Home resident, died Aug. 16, 2021 in Boise, Idaho, of COVID.
She was born Oct. 23, 1951 to James and Patricia Weedman, one of three children.
She graduated from William S. Hart High School in Newhall, Calif., and attended beauty school in California.
Ms. Weedman became a beautician, then changed careers and entered the field of personal finance and banking, in which she was active until she retired.
She loved her daughters and her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with her mother and her dog, Gizmo. She loved crafts, the lake, and politics.
Her death was unexpected and came as a surprising loss to her family.
Ms. Weedman is survived by her mother, Patricia Weedman of South Carolina; brother Jim Weedman of South Carolina; sister Kathy Barton of Florida; two daughters, Tammy Blair of Santa Paula, Calif., and Brandy Hill of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, plus another on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Weedman.
A service is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Lewis Cemetery, followed by a private luncheon at Sue’s Place in Lebanon.
