Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation has approved a $7,000 grant for the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District to be used on the construction of a substation at Cascadia.
A check was presented Friday to the SHFAD representatives Don Hopkins and Fire Chief Mike Beaver by Rick Smith, unit manager of Foster Plywood and Kevin Strong of Weyerhaeuser’s Albany office.
