’Tis the season for class reunions and the Class of 1969 (45 years) is geared up and ready to go on July 25-27.
Through the process of organizing this gathering we are again surprised at the number of classmates who still reside in or very near Sweet Home, yet do not attend our reunion. We always ask ourselves “Why is that?” We always have a great time with whoever shows up. It’s usually a pretty decent meal at a better than fair price and some very interesting conversations. If you look closely, most of the senior citizens attending look very much like your classmates.
You could consider it an evening to work on memory skills, if nothing else!
So if you are from the class of 1969 and are not planning to come please contact me and let me know why not. The committee will do whatever it can to make it something everyone will enjoy. If you are not from the class of 1969 we would still be interested in hearing from you.
If you are from the class of 1969 and would still like to attend it is not too late. Just contact me as soon as possible and we will save a steak for you… or something else if you don’t eat steak!
