William “Bill” Samuel Branch, 66, of Seattle Wash., died Aug. 25, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Seattle.
He was born June 4, 1946 in Alameda, Calif. to the late Jack Branch and Betty Dedman.
He enjoyed spending time with Grandma Beatrice McCoy and spent his formative years being raised by his step-father, Jack Dedman. He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1964.
Mr. Branch was a talented carpenter, taking many boats and refurbishing them to their glory. He enjoyed working on cars and other things and he loved his power washer. He also enjoyed reading Louis L’Amour novels.
He loved his Corgi dogs, which preceded him, Sweet William and Maggie.
Mr. Branch was always willing to help people whenever they needed it. He was a great friend and neighbor. One of his greatest joys was giving his daughter Amanda away to Justin Sena at her recent wedding.
He served proudly in the United States Army in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda and son-in-law Justin Sena; the love of his life, Candy Braley of Seattle; ex-wife Tony Santos of Seattle; sisters Jacque Violette of Tillamook and Julie Dedman of Sweet Home; nephews Mark, Kevin and Eric Violette and many McCoy cousins.
A memorial service was held in Seattle.
