William Hockett

William Clark Hockett, 88, of Sweet Home, passed away March 27, 2025.
He was born Sept. 5, 1936, to Mayme J. (Olson) and Verden E. Hockett in Portland.
He served in the Navy as a radarman on aircraft carrier USS Wasp during peacetime. He attended John Hopkins and UNLV Washington.
Bill worked on the Cougar Dam and Foster Dam. He worked 27 years at Foster Plywood. Bill enjoyed doing missionary work, preaching the Kingdom.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Lou (2013).
A service will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in his memory to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
