William “Bill” Duane Partch, 82, of Sweet Home died March 31, 2007 at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1924 to Elmer and Cecile Partch in Castle Rock, Wash.
Mr. Partch moved to Sweet Home as a young boy and attended Sweet Home area schools. He served for 3 1/2 years in the Army during World War II. He was a logger in the local area his whole life. H
He married Helen Deckard on Jan. 8, 1997.
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Lori Palmer; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; Aunt Debbi and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Partch was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Partch and a sister, “Denny”.
Services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Gilliland Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
