Woman arrested on drug charges after search warrant

Sweet Home police arrested a woman in connection to a search warrant they served Friday morning, Nov. 21.

Tiffany Angelique Shreves, 33, was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine and two counts of child neglect. She was transported to Linn County Jail.

Police served the search warrant at about 9 a.m. at 2226 Larch St. with assistance from Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Officers located one adult and two children inside the house.

During the investigation, detectives seized methamphetamine, scales, baggies, marijuana and paraphernalia, including pipes, hypodermic needles and tinfoil, said Police Chief Jeff Lynn.

The Department of Human Services to Children and Families responded to assist taking the two minor children into protective custody.

Sweet Home police opened a narcotics investigation due to frequent short-stay traffic to and from the residence and based on previous complaints, Lynn said.
