Wound care available in Lebanon

Samaritan Health Services has re-established a wound care clinic in Lebanon, as well as added vein care consultation to their suite of services.

The clinic will operate out of Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital under the name Samaritan Wound, Vein & Hyperbaric Medicine – Lebanon.

“The demand for wound and medical vein care in East Linn County has grown,” said Wendie Wunderwald, vice president of nursing at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. “To better serve the needs of our patients, it made logistical sense to offer these services in our community.”

Wound care treatment will be available for non-healing wound needs, as will evaluation of patients in need of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This service will be provided by Scott Rasmussen, DPM, and Larry Buglino, DO. Buglino will also provide vein consultation to patients in need of medical treatment for varicose veins or other symptoms that result from venous reflux disease.

Wound and vein care is also available in North Albany, as are medical and cosmetic vein services in Corvallis. A referral from a primary care provider is required.

Samaritan Wound, Vein & Hyperbaric Medicine – Lebanon is based out of Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. For more information, visit samhealth.org/HBOT or call (541) 812-3360.
