POLICE, FIREFIGHTERS AND MEDICS work around the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20. Oregon State Police received a report of a crashed Dodge Ram pickup, driven by Carl Yardley, 57, of Sweet Home at about 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. He complained of minor injuries but turned down transportation to the hospital. According to the police report, Yardley’s vehicle was headed west when it hit ice and spun across the highway and coming to rest on the eastbound shoulder. Police issued no citations.
