Sweet Home’s wrestlers got a break last week from their punishing schedule, making a visit to Scio for a dual meet and coming away with a 60-16 win over the Loggers.
Coach Steve Thorpe said the Huskies “competed well with some big falls.
“The gym was packed and it was loud,” he said. “It was a night that was good for wrestling.”
After taking last weekend off, the Huskies will be back on the road Thursday for dual meets with Taft and Central at Taft, followed by the Reser’s Tournament of Champion at Liberty High School in Hillsborough on Friday and Saturday, which will feature many of the top teams in the state from all divisions.
