Lacking all of its most experienced performers in its opening home meet, against Cascade Friday, the Sweet Home boys swim team still came out ahead in the Huskies’ first scoring meet of the season, winning 88-53.
“Cascade is always a pretty good team – but to see us get off to a start like we did was sort of a surprise to me,” said Coach Doug Peargin, who has coached the Huskies for 35 years.
