Young wrestlers qualify for Classic

The 10 were among 19 wrestlers who competed in the Classic Qualifier in Redmond last weekend. To qualify for the Classic they had to finish in the top three of the tournament.

“This group of kids have been working hard to prepare for this and faced some tough matches on Saturday,” said Coach Steve Schilling, who expressed appreciation for his assistant coaches, who also included Leon Olson and Mike Sorenson.

“At one point we had five wrestlers at the same time on different mats. Without these coaches time and assistance, our kids might not have done as well.”
