The Tigers finished 1-9, but Horn said they never were really blown out and “progressed nicely” as the season wore on, their only win coming in their last game against “a pretty good” Woodburn team. “Our best game of the year was against Taldmadge, which was undefeated. They beat us by eight. We played outstanding on the road. The second time around, when we played teams, we were in every ballgame.” He said Walker was the player who led the team and “controlled the game for us. We needed one more good player and we would have won half our games.”
