The Huskies dominated Elmira in baseball, winning 13-1 in five innings, on the road on Friday.
The Huskies met the 10-run mark by the second inning, scoring four times in the first and eight in the second. They added one more run in the fifth inning.
Elmira scored in its final at bats, but it wasn’t enough to hold off an early end to the game.
Brandon Keenon led the Huskies’ offensive burst going 4-4 with two RBIs and four runs. J.T. Weld went 3-4 with a double and two runs.
Hitting twice, Colyn Van Eck scored a run, Brett Blachly scored two runs and an RBI and Justin Tow scored a run with an RBI.
Austin Rice and Kevin Seiber each hit once and scored two runs, with Seiber scoring two RBIs. Cole Ashcraft hit a double with an RBI and a run.
Dylan Elder was winning pitcher, giving up two hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in five innings.
The Huskies are 9-4 overall and 4-2 and in second place in league. They are 11th in the Oregon School Activities Association rankings.
Sisters is in first place in the league at 6-0. Junction City, 4-3, is third, followed by Cottage Grove, 3-3; Elmira, 2-4; and La Pine 0-7.
They are scheduled to host Sisters on Friday and then travel to Sisters on Tuesday.

Junction City defeated the Huskies 10-2 at home on April 16.
Each team scored a run in the first inning, but Junction City scored two in the third and four in the fourth to take a decisive 7-1 lead.
The Huskies scored their second run in the bottom of the fourth but couldn’t get their bats going well enough to get ahead of Junction City, which scored three more runs in the game.
Blachly went 2-4 with an RBI to lead the Huskies at the plate. Rice singled and recorded an RBI. Also recording one hit were Keenon, Seiber and Weld.
Seiber was the losing pitcher, giving up two hits, five walks and four runs, two earned. He struck out five in three innings.
Pitching in relief were D.J. Bidwell, who gave up four hits and four earned runs while walking two in one inning. Also in relief, Tyler Funk pitched three innings, giving up four hits, four walks and two runs, one earned, while striking out three.
On defense, the Huskies committed four errors, while Junction City committed none.
