The rest of the game was all North Marion, as the other Huskies put on an offensive display that ultimately ended the game after five innings due to the 10-run rule.

Jon Holly and Kelso Ellis pitched in relief. Holly pitched one and two third innings, giving up no earned runs on three hits while striking out two.
Ellis pitched one inning, giving up no earned runs and no hits. North Marion outhit Sweet Home 7-5 in the game, and Sweet Home struggled on defense, committing five errors while North Marion had none.
Conn also had a double to go along with his RBI single. His two hits would lead Sweet Home batters.
Sweet Home shored up the defense in the second game of the doubleheader, committing just one error while North Marion again had none.
But North Marion once again 10-run ruled Sweet Home after five innings, outhitting their opponent 9-3 as Sweet Home failed to score a run.
