Members of the Sweet Home High School Class of 1972 gathered July 9 for their 50-year reunion. Some participated in the Cut The Gut cruise night and gathered at the Woods Roadhouse in Foster (owned by two Class of ’72 alums) for a concert by the Riley Boys Band (two of whom are also Class of ’72 alumni). On Saturday alums gathered in front of the high school to watch the parade. Following the parade, they were given a tour of the high school. Many had not seen it since the early-2000s remodel. Next, they met at Husky Field for lunch and a show by the high school cheerleaders and then toured the remodeled Junior High School. On Saturday evening, they met at the Elks Lodge for an awesome dinner, some reminiscing with slide shows and trivia and a lot of visiting with old friends and classmates.
