A shovel tears down a portion of what used to be the video store in Santiam Plaza, which will soon be the site of a new Taco Bell, on the northeast corner of 15th and Main. Demolition began Friday. Meili Construction, a Eugene-based general contractor that specializes in commercial development, is handling the project.
