The District 55 School Board decided last week to leave its policy regarding distribution of information in schools virtually unchanged.
The board had considered whether to restrict the access of community groups, primarily youth groups, like the Boys and Girls Club, Scouting groups and Good News Club, in schools.
A variety of alternatives had been suggested by groups and administration at previous board meetings and a special work session on the subject.…
