Circuit Court (June 15, 2022)

Following are updates on cases involving local individuals going through Linn County Circuit Court processes. All dates referenced are 2022 unless otherwise indicated:

Zane Anders Tweed, 19, pleaded guilty on June 8 to a charge of luring a minor, and was sentenced to 18 months probation and 72 hours in jail.

Steven Lanham, 65, was charged on May 26 with four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor. Bail was set at $100,000.

Crystal Dawn Strickland, 33, was charged on May 26 with five counts of identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and first-degree theft. She has other pending charges for identity theft; identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card; second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and failure to appear; giving false information to a police officer; and third-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and criminal driving while suspended. A warrant was issued.

Jonathan Phillip Vancleave, 57, pleaded no contest on May 23 to a charge of failing to report as a sex offender.

Bryce Taylor Keenon, 26, was charged on May 13 with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence for an incident involving a female.

Christopher Thomas Reed, 38, was charged on May 24 with first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief, unlawful cutting and transport of special forest products, and four counts of second-degree criminal trespassing. According to court documents, Reed allegedly stole Holley blue agate from Cascade Timber Consulting, caused $1,000 or more in damage to property, and cut or split wood into special forest products without a valid permit.

Michael Jay McPeak, 46, on May 26 pleaded no contest to recklessly endangering another person for an incident in December 2021. He was sentenced to 12 months probation. A charge of reckless driving was dismissed.

Jacob Reginald Bliss, 47, was charged on May 31 with second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, and first-degree criminal mischief. Bail set at $100,000. He was also charged on June 1 with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and three counts of felon in possession of a firearm. It is alleged Bliss was found in possession of a .45 ACP Taurus semi-automatic handgun, a 9mm handgun and a switchblade knife. Bail for those charges was set at $50,000.

Bobby Alan Erickson, 28, was charged on June 3 with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse involving an underage male. Bail was set at $200,000.

Tyler Wade Fincher, 23, was charged on June 6 with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, a Class C felony. It is alleged Fincher caused physical injury to a pregnant female.

Samuel Frank Ayers, 24, was charged on June 6 with third-degree escape, felon in possession of a firearm, and failure to perform duties of driver when property is damaged. Ayers posted 10 percent of a $12,000 bail. He failed to appear at his June 8 arraignment, and his security deposit was forfeited.

Jordan Nicole Swanson, 31, was charged on May 25 with identity theft and computer crime, both Class C felonies.

Raymond Manuel McKendree, 20, was charged on June 9 with second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, strangulation and second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $50,000.

Nathan Warren Honeyman, 32, was cited by Oregon State Police on Jan. 8, 2022 for going 107 MPH in a 65 MPH zone in Yamhill County. He pleaded not guilty on Feb. 11, and submitted a testimony stating he became ill following a dinner party and had already vomited several times before entering the freeway.

Honeyman admitted to speeding as he sought a restroom, but he didn’t explain the circumstances to the officer because he was legally armed and didn’t want to exit his vehicle or interact with emergency medical services. The officer failed to appear at trial on May 27, and the case was dismissed.

Honeyman was again cited by Oregon State Police in Yamhill County on April 26 for refusing to take a breath test, and warned for failing to drive within the lane. He was charged on May 18 with DUII and reckless driving for the April 26 incident.

Stephen Michael Aziz, 68, was charged on June 1 with DUII and reckless driving.

Anthony Neil Warren, 38, is appealing a charge in which he was found guilty on March 4 for DUII and criminal driving while suspended or revoked from an incident occurring in October 2020.

Amy Lola Wingo, 47, was charged on June 9 with DUII and reckless driving. She is being recommended to the diversion program.
